Frequently asked questions
Who can come?
All are welcome. You do not have to be a member of PTI to attend an outdoor service, or any service for that matter, so bring a friend! We ask, for love of your neighbor, if you are not feeling well or have been medically recommended to not attend, please make plans to attend the next Gathering On The Grounds instead. We encourage our older attenders and those at-risk to use their discretion and to exercise caution.
I want to attend, but I’m not sure that I’ll be safe.
Having an on-site, in-person outdoor worship service seeks to balance togetherness with safety. As we plan, our goal is to take all precautions possible. We be practicing social distancing and abiding by all CDC guidelines. Masks will be required, and sanitation stations will be in place.
We are removing worship elements where worshippers may touch (handshakes, greeting time, etc.) and shared items.
Where should I park?
Parking attendants will be available to assist and answer your questions. Pull up, and we'll guide you from there.
Masks are required for ‘traveling’ to and from vehicles to seating areas and for bathroom use. PTI branded masks will be available for purchase online. If you would like to be maskless in your vehicle, you may do so, however we ask that when you step outside of your car, you put on a mask.
We are brothers and sisters who have different positions and will lovingly make room for one another. Please be aware that your actions and practices impact others.
Is Kingdom Kids going to be available
We are unable to host children’s ministry classes inside the sanctuary like normal, so plan for your entire family to sit together during the service. We encourage families to bring along a “church bag” for your younger ones to keep them engaged during the service.
Our Kingdom Kids ministry will be providing snacks for your little ones.
What about offerings, bathrooms, and other details?
We hope Gathering On The Grounds is a great experience for us as a church and as a community. We have learned a lot. We ask for your continued patience and grace as we work through things with trial and error.
We will continue with our current methods in receiving offerings: mail in to church, online giving, and collection drop off as you exit service. Bathrooms are available for use, entering the building one at a time.
What should I bring?
A FRIEND! We'd love it if you brought someone new with you to Gathering On The Grounds.
We encourage you to bring lawn chairs if you do not wish to be confined to your car.
Of course, a Bible so you can follow along during the preached Word.
A source of shade (hat, small umbrella, etc)
Will Cafe 133 be available?
Yes! Our Cafe team will be serving non perishable and prepackaged items. You can find a complete menu and pricing for the Cafe right here on this page.
We are highly encouraging you to pay for your food/drink items digitally via Paypal or Cashapp, as a means to practice social distancing. We will be accepting cash if you are unable to pay digitally.
